Proposed amendments to fees in By-law No. 60
At its March 21, 2025 meeting, CMRITO Council directed College staff to initiate a public consultation on proposed changes to By-law No. 60 increasing College fees.

This follows a September 2024 consultation on proposed changes to the By-law. Please visit
the previous consultation for an overview of this initial consultation.
View a summary of the proposed changes to By-law No. 60 here. Key changes include:
- $75 increase to the annual fee, effective September 1, 2025
- $70 increase to the annual fee, effective September 1, 2026
- $28 increase to the annual fee, effective September 1, 2027
- effective September 1, 2028 and on September 1 every year thereafter, a cost-of-living adjustment that is up to but not more than the annual increase in the Ontario consumer price index, unless the Council determines that such increase is not warranted
- $25 increase to the initial application fee, effective September 1, 2025
In accordance with the Health Professions Procedural Code, being Schedule 2 to the RHPA, the proposed changes are being circulated to registrants and system partners for comment for a period of 60 days. The deadline to comment is Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
Following the close of the consultation period, the Council will review the feedback received and consider whether approving the proposed by-law amendments are in the public interest.
