Each year, each member of the CMRTO must complete the QA Portfolio, and complete and record at least 25 hours of continuing education and professional development activities. The QA year runs from January 1 to December 31.
The QA Portfolio includes:

QA profile: provides an overview of your practice as an MRT. You are required to complete this each year

Self-assessment: the self-assessment is based on the CMRTO’s standards of practice. You are required to complete a minimum of 2 of the 8 standards each year

Record of continuing education and professional development: you are required to complete and record at least 25 hours of continuing education and professional development activities each year
The ePortfolio is available through the members’ section of the CMRTO website. The ePortfolio is a user friendly, paperless, easy and convenient way to complete your annual self-assessment and QA profile, and record your continuing education and professional development activities electronically. MRTs who used the ePortfolio in 2013 have said that it is easy to use, intuitive and accessible. Click here to access the ePortfolio.
